I swear I'm not turning into a Hills blog. It's just that Lauren & Co. won't stop partying!
I ran into Lauren "L.C." Conrad at last night's Declare Yourself event at the Wallis Annenberg Center for the Performing Arts. She was filming a segment for her MTV reality series with Teen Vogue pal Whitney Port. For starters, Lauren tells me she's smoothed things over with Jen Bunney (remember L.C.'s brunette pal, who hooked up with Brody Jenner last season?). I'm surprised, considering Jen was just helping Heidi Montag shop for wedding dresses a few weeks ago. Though, this could be a plot for Lauren to score another point in the ongoing L.C. versus Heidi battle (for more on the rift, head over to Watch with Kristin).
"Heidi just came up to me," a wide-eyed Lauren said, between takes. "I was, like, shaking." Shaking? Heidi may be conniving, but she's not scary. In fact, she seems more like an MTV puppet then a big-boobed bitch.
When Heidi left with a gal-pal (Spencer Pratt was off duty last night), Whitney petted Lauren's hair and the two girls sipped their drinks—as if on cue. Audrina Patridge was off duty, too, on a date with Justin Bobby. I wouldn't be surprised if that results in drama, as well.
Now, don't get me wrong, I'm totally Team L.C. But Heidi was really sweet when I talked to her. I'm starting to feel for the girl, and I'm beginning to think the feud and the drama may be all Spencer's fault. Let's just hope this wedding doesn't happen. That's one soiree I would not want to attend.
